Though Newfoundland does not have any glaciers, these 10,000+ year-old icebergs come from calving off the glaciers of Greenland. Due to currents and wind, their exact locations on a given day can be very unpredictable. Sometimes, they’ll get grounded in coves where they can stick around for days. I saw this one off the coast and tried to find a way to get a better look. As the sun peaked through the heavy cloud cover, it created beautiful spots of light on the ice. I would estimate this iceberg to be at least the size of 1 football field - a scale you can’t quite grasp until you see them in person.

Fine Art Print
I've selected 100% acid free Hahnemühle William Turner Fine Art paper for this photo. The beautiful texture of this matte paper matches the grass and rock cave beautifully. Print will include a white border around the image for better framing. The print will be signed and numbered using a pencil in the margin beneath the image. If you would prefer the edition number and signature on the back of the print, please be sure to let me know when ordering.
This canvas print comes pre-stretched on to a frame with hanging hardware attached. The print will be signed and numbered on either the side or the back of the canvas.
All prints will be shipped with tracking. Fine Art prints are rolled and sent in a durable, heavyweight tube. Pickup or delivery within the Greater Toronto Area is available free of charge. Any shipping costs will be calculated during checkout.
